Traditional Catholics will say the Modern Catholics do not have valid orders since (among various other reasons) the prayers and/or formulas for ordination of priests and consecration of bishops have been markedly changed; while Modern Catholics will say that Traditional Catholics do not have any pope to validate their various "ordinations" of "priests" and "consecrations" of "bishops."  Could it be they are both right and Tecla Hashimoto is the one true priest of our time?

Let me explain.....

I have heard it said that abortion is "External link opens in new tab or windowthe mystical dismemberment of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the persons of preborn children," and -- if this is so (and I'm not personally sure that it is, but let us say for the sake of argument that it is) -- how much more so would it be true of the unborn child of a holy martyr like Tecla who took that unborn child to the Cross?  In doing so, did she not play the role of a True Catholic priest making the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, only here on the altar of her womb?

I hope to address this issue (i.e., the possibility of Tecla being a priest, and, perhaps, the one true priest of our time) more in-depth in future posts, but I, at least, wanted to float the idea here for readers of this site to consider and see if it resonates with them.  If so, why?  If not, why not?
